In the early 1960's the man who started it all began going bald. A very popular and animated hairdresser at the time, Paul V. Finamore was also fast becoming the nation's largest privately owned international designer and manufacturer of women's wigs.
Finamore assessed the needs of his male clientele (many of them also suffering from male pattern baldness) and noticed there existed no solution available for people experiencing hair loss to allow them to KEEP their hair, their youthful appearance and in many cases their dignity. When his own hair began to fall out rapidly from male pattern balding, Finamore vowed he would create a scalp replica of a healthy head of hair that perfectly matched the wearers own hair - and that is exactly what he did.
Using his knowledge of hair, hairstyling, and the details of manufacturing women's wigs, Finamore stepped outside the box and painstakingly experimented for three years on creating a custom, human hair system that could be worn 24-7 and during any activity. For the first time in history, a person could thicken their hair permanently and confidently while showering, sleeping, swimming, and playing sports.
Finamore's invention was received with so much excitement and gratitude from his clients that word spread quickly through the Chicago area and beyond. Soon, high-profile celebrities, sport super-stars (including a Hall of Fame Hockey Star), sportscasters, newscasters, business executives and the average Joe secretly flocked to Hairline Creations to fix their hair loss problems. It was not only important to them to keep their hair, but in many cases the actual success of their careers depended upon it, as they later confided in telling Finamore and his staff.
Over the course of nearly five decades in the business, Hairline Creations developed 7 unique U.S Patents, each resulting in tremendous advancements in the hair replacement market and requiring the company to open three offices in the Chicago area. Hairline Creations is the only company that can rightfully be credited with giving birth to a whole new technology, which today is a thriving, billion-dollar industry! This level of accomplishment is unmatched by any hair replacement center across the USA.
Today, Hairline Creations continually sets the benchmark of quality in the industry and our services expand with the latest technological advances and the desires of our clients.
